This is the story of Moe Berg, a baseball player who during his 15 seasons in the sport was in four different teams, although he never excelled especially. However, he was nicknamed “the smartest man in baseball” because of his university degrees and he spoke nine languages. He was also a spy during World War II, traveling to Yugoslavia and Italy to obtain information that would allow the United States to beat Germany in the nuclear race to get the atomic bomb.
Ben Lewin (Sessions) directs this biopic, whose script was written by Robert Rodat (Save Private Ryan). Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) will give life to Berg.
